You have the mind of a graphic designer, but your creations are far more rational than aesthetic.

You’ll simplify the delivery of complex pieces of information by translating it into innovative – yet straightforward – designs that meet the functional needs of your clients, and users can understand effortlessly.

You may work on signage, maps, charts, graphs and other technical projects; the goal is to compile information and other data into easy-to-understand visual representations and simple messages.

Your background can be that of a graphic designer, copywriter, web developer, instructional designer, technical writer, or user interface designer. However, as long as you keep up with the latest technology trends and have a solid understanding of design, writing, information structure, and programming; you’re set up for success.
