Director of Product Marketing

ONSITE ONLY / (near) Ann Arbor MI

Salary: $160k, Bonus up to 25% company equity

We're seeking a Director of Product Marketing to join our client's team and help shape the future of sustainable building solutions. Our client is a game-changer in the building materials industry, revolutionizing the way buildings are designed and constructed.

Your Role

As Director of Product Marketing, you'll be the strategic bridge between our core go-to-market teams, ensuring every product decision and message aligns with customer insight, market opportunity, and commercial impact. You'll shape the market narrative, develop the product roadmap, and drive growth through innovative marketing strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new product launches and specifications

Build launch plans that integrate marketing, sales, and partner activation efforts

Oversee product pricing, packaging, and segmentation strategies

Create sales enablement materials and train internal teams and external partners

Partner with R&D, Sales, and Executive Leadership to develop and maintain a multi-year product roadmap

Serve as a client-facing product expert and lead market analyses to identify trends and emerging technologies

Requirements & HAVES

7-10 years of experience in product marketing, product management, or technical marketing with at least 4+ years in building materials

  • Demonstrated experience engaging with clients, partners, and cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; Adobe Creative Suite (especially InDesign or Illustrator) a plus.
  • Experience in high-growth environments with rapidly evolving priorities.

Proven success developing product roadmaps and go-to-market strategies

Exceptional storytelling and communication skills

Experience in high-growth environments with rapidly evolving priorities

A passion for innovation and improving how buildings are designed, constructed, and operated
