Job Description:
Our leading powerhouse global retailer client seeks a talented Private Brand Packaging Production Designer to join their team aligning closely with and providing support within a collaborative private brands team.
We are seeking a Private Brand Packaging Production Designer who is an experienced packaging and production designer and branding professional with a sophisticated and astute design eye and strong branding skills! Who are we looking for? You are a critical problem-solver with the ability to create, consistent, on-brand, detailed design, and branding solutions! You thrive in a team setting, partnering with a highly engaged team that values collaborative success and shares a quest for brand retail excellence!
As a Private Brand Packaging Production Designer, you will be working with a design team and project manager to produce innovative brand and packaging designs and branding guides across a range of retail consumer goods. The project requires a multi-language format – experience with private brands and a range of consumer packaged goods (CPG) is ideal.
Requirements:
• Min 5+ years of experience in packaging and brand design, international experience is preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree in graphic design
• Broad knowledge of the packaging design concepts supporting the current brand strategy
• Expert skills in Adobe Creative Suite: Illustrator, Photoshop, & InDesign
• Comprehensive understanding of design principles, typography, brand standards, and building print-ready working files
• Excellent understanding of print packaging, print production, and packaging manufacturing (substrates, die lines, colors, print processes, UPC, barcodes, etc.).
• Experience with private label brands and a range of consumer packaged goods (CPG) is preferred
• Fluent in all Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word) software
This is a temporary position working remote and hybrid onsite at the client's local campus in Rogers, Arkansas as required. Salary is $27–$35 per hour, working up to as many as 40 hrs. per week.
