When it comes to checking proofs or other content for typos, errors in grammar or usage, and style inconsistencies, you are seen as the last line of defense.

It’s safe to say you have a great eye for detail, working knowledge of the AP or Chicago Manual of Style, and a mastery of the English language.

You’ll make sure that the final piece is accurate, consistent, and error-free; and will most likely liaise with authors, copywriters and editors

This career can take you to various media outlets to the likes of ad agencies, magazines, publishing houses, newspapers almost all digital media.

Tools of the Trade: Microsoft Word, Basic Adobe Indesign,  and other office related software.
