Account Executive
Liaison, client-tamer, checks and balances – you are all this and more.
You have the responsibility of managing the client’s expectations, making sure their work is produced on time and on budget by overseeing the status of their ad campaigns.
As you keep yourself informed about your clients’ industries, products/services, and changes in the marketplace, you are able to prepare detailed business plans, manage sales cycles, develop client-centered solutions, perform product demonstrations, prepare sales proposals, and network at industry events. Additionally, are in charge of finding new business opportunities, clients, and accounts, while enhancing the customer experience.
You’ll be the go-between in the client/agency relationship, handling about four clients on average at any given time. Consequently, having strong communication skills as well as a flair for negotiating and delegating, is a formula for success.
As a natural team player, you will collaborate closely with the sales and marketing departments, and the next step in your career could take you to Sr. Account Executive, Account Supervisor, or Account Manager.
Tools of the Trade: Microsoft Word; Excel; PowerPoint; other office related software. Working experience: Salesforce or other CRM software is a plus.
