Job Description:
A designer and manufacturer of fashion accessories is looking for an experienced Senior Graphic Design Manager to join their full-time team in Dallas, Texas, and be responsible for the creative concept, design, and production of original products. The Senior Graphic Designer Manager will also manage multiple projects, direct and supervise photography, videos and photo art direction for all creative and marketing material.
As the Senior Graphic Designer you will:
Manage a team while still being hands-on and collaborate with a sharp art-direction eye
Create imagery, design, execute and oversee production of compelling assets from start to finish to support new product initiatives and existing product innovation
Create product renderings/CADs and illustrations for custom patterns and motifs to match trends
Illustrate, produces sketches, sand finished layout designs to be aligned with the look and feel of asset creation
Creative innovative, distinctive and engaging imagery for the print and digital marketing assets (including web and video), social media, print, and special projects
Develop storyboards, design print, and digital sales collateral, as needed
Direct photography and videos to market in order to promote new product concepts that engage customers
Manage multiple projects, growth initiatives, collaborate with other teams helping to drive sales and elevating the brand and supporting the companys strategy
Work closely with Trend Manager on design trends, updating the website and social media content accordingly to market trends and retail brands
Bring and present new ideas to team members
Manage projects meeting deadlines and work requirements
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members and freelance designers
Our ideal Senior Graphic Designer has the following skills and experience:
5+ years of experience in Graphic Design & Illustration and Photo Art Direction
Experience working in the fashion products/fashion industry
Bachelors degree in Graphic Design or related field
Ability to inspire, mentor, and lead team
Strong portfolio containing samples of product photography, print collateral, web, video, art direction, and general marketing content development
Excellent graphic design skills for multiple media and formats: digital and print design, packaging design, brochures, photo editing, brand strategy in general
Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign, and other creative tools
Able to work using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
Up to date with industry trends, techniques, and technologies
Knowledge in usability design, information design, and content design
Ability to successfully organize and manage multiple projects, timings and priorities
Excellent communication skills; ability to interface and do presentations
Be a self-starter, innovative, creative
Detail-oriented and a strong sense of urgency
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
