Job Description:
We are currently seeking a Junior Fashion Product Developer to support our client, one of Bangladesh’s largest garment manufacturers, and work collaboratively with their dynamic team!

Our ideal candidate understands the fabric of the denim industry. This assignment is seasonal/month-to-month, working full-time hours on a weekly basis directly from the clients’ office and showroom in the NY/Manhattan area. Additionally, this key member will partner with our clients sales teams while supporting their overseas denim (and other categories) manufacturing teams throughout the product development process.

Our ideal candidate will be responsible for:
• Research trends, conduct retail market analysis, & work collaboratively with the sales/design team to spot emerging trends and re-interpret them for each of our customer's/denim market segment needs.
• Create seasonal trend presentations.
• Organize and maintain sample management chart with all market proto samples, new fabric selections library, and in-house product development pieces.
• Interpret and design technical sketches and CADS for style representation.
• Research new printing techniques, embellishments, trims, and fabrics in the market. Work closely with overseas counterparts for development when required.
• Partner with the sales team on presentation set-up and meeting materials/agenda.
• Ensure all market samples, proto-samples, and style-relevant information are readily available/accurate
• Manage and track sample development with cross-functional teams.
• Responsible for updating LIP (line-in progress charts) with customer samples feedback, meeting recaps, and costing updates.
• Support US Office by communicating with overseas counterparts
• Manage team’s adherence to calendar deadlines
• Keep records for sample purchases & expenses for each product category
• Attend tradeshows and develop high-level summary recap
• Creative, passionate, and hard-working person who is both independent and a team-player
Additional Responsibilities & Skills Preferred:
• Develop & prepare artwork for production (2D & 3D Cads)
• Flat sketching and image editing.
• Recoloring and adjusting artwork as required in graphic applications Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
• Creating tech packs
• Knowledge of Browzwear/CLO is a plus
• Excellent skills in Adobe Creative Suite & Microsoft Office
