Job Description:
An innovative national interior design company is looking for a 3D/CGI Production Manager to join their full-time team and help push the boundaries of tradicional e-commerce imaging. In the interior design industry,imagery including photography, video, graphic design and CGI production is key to the success of innovation and bringing the best solutions to customers.

In this position, the 3D/CGI Manager is responsible for overseeing a team of 3D artists and guiding the creative strategy across the phases of 3D asset production.

Your key responsibilities will include:
- Work collaboratively with the Brand Create team developing, producing and improving interior renderings
- Be responsible for creating briefs for the 3D artist team. This may include rough floorplans, reference imagery, prop guidelines, lighting and camera direction, texture maps and image specs
- From pre to post, manage the full production of 3D scenes
- Work with the Photography Team in order to generate the material you’ll use to provide texture maps to our team of 3D artists
- Work with the Product Team to ensure accurate depictions of the product
- Define the right visualization techniques, procedures and resources for each project within time and budget constraints
- Be hands on and execute compelling, photorealistic 3D scenes yourself when needed

Our ideal 3D/CGI Manager has these skills and experience:
- 5+ years of experience in 3D modeling of spaces, from architectural visualization, retail or interior design
- Background in interior design, furniture or home goods brands
- Expert in Cinema 4D, 3dsMax, Maya or similar
- Experience with Photoshop and Adobe Creative Suite
- Familiarity with VR and AR tools
- In-depth understanding of the 3D production pipeline, from modeling to texturing and rendering
- Excellent communication skills
- Detail oriented and passionate about design, architecture and interiors
- Ability and spirit be hands on and execute when needed.
- Portfolio that showcases a range of 3D image explorations, from interiors to product and still-life
- Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining high quality standards within tight deadlines

This is a full-time, hybrid role in NY. Fully REMOTE is not possible.
