Job Description:
A nationwide design brand focused on holidays is looking for a Designer to join their full-time creative team working on complex installations, from concept to removal, including design, manufacturing, project management.
Their mission is to keep pushing the brand bringing innovative, creative and high-quality design services to the clients.

As a designer you will report to the Design Director and be responsible for all aspects of creative operational work for the clients. Besides the creative aesthetic and design, this includes ensuring the company’s excellence is kept in the whole process, overseeing delivery and installation. You’ll also have to make sure the client’s goals will be achieved within time and budget.

In the high season you will have to be onsite to physically accompany the installations and everything involved in the process.

Main daily responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Project Manager and Account Manager in order to produce complete programmatic proposal
- Maintain corporate branding standards ensuring quality and consistency in all materials (including presentations)
- Keep up tp date with industry trends
- Produce visuals for client proposals and company’s brand operations such as renderings, animations, sketches, concepts, photography, storyboards, presentations, and other as needed
- Communicate with client to understand needs and produce accordingly visuals responding to the briefing
- Lead and guide the team during design phase to ensure cohesive program development
- Own the design process
- Provide clear direction to Production Manager for sample creation or custom concept development, or other asset as needed
- Be involved in concept/sample fabrication process. (This may include physically selecting ornaments and décor)
- Participate in pricing process since you will develop a good understanding of the basic product costs and will have to consider this in the creative design process
- When needed, accompany Sales and additional team members to site visits or client meetings and presentations
- Create relevant social media content, as needed

Installation Supervision (onsite):
- Coordinate, plan and lead the installation and removal process of decor at client sites
- Attend supervisor meetings, record important information and delegate tasks to assigned crew of the project
- Communicate effectively with in-house support team regarding production and installation
- Visit customer sites and locations ensuring company’s high standards are upheld

These are the skills and experience for this position:
- BA degree in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Marketing or other related field
- 2+ Years Experience in Design roles
- Expert in Adobe Photoshop and InDesign
- Fluent in Adobe Illustrator and Microsoft Office
- Sketching, drawing and illustration skills
- Excellent digital photography skills
- Understanding of Adobe Premier, Adobe After Effects, Rhino 5, Blendr, Sketch UP, AutoCAD
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Client-facing experience
- Ability to work in a team, learn and adapt quickly
- Detail oriented, multitask and ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Ability to receive feedback and no fear to fail
- Positive attitude, problem-solving, flexibility and adaptability
- Availability to work onsite from October to January

This is a full-time position, hybrid model, in Westchester County, NY. From October to January this position is onsite and no remote work will be possible in this period.
