Faith-based institution is looking for a talented Video Production Director to join their team of creatives.
This is highly versatile role that will provide you with ample opportunity to get creative!

This institution is incredibly future thinking, has a balance in reaching their multicultural audience of all ages. As Production Director you will manage Broadcast crews across 3 campuses and be highly hands on in the planning and execution of weekly broadcasts. You will conceptualize with worship leaders the direction of the content and strategize the best way to execute it.

Although this role is primarily strategic and managerial, you will be require to be hands on, often performing tasks like filming, lighting and audio set up, video editing and more.

As Video Production Director you will:

Lead the creation and production of weekly videos for several segmented audience/events (i.e. retreats, kids, teens, etc.)
Be present at studio or on site location to film weekly content
Conceptualize new and creative ways to spread the organizations message and mission
Manage team of technical staff (i.e. lighting/audio experts, set designers, videographers, etc.)
Promote creative acts of service to potential volunteers and grow list of available volunteer staff
Be key leading part of all online streaming and television productions – institution currently has a 30 min. TV program that will be expanded
Maintain schedules for service and events to ensure sufficient and adequate staff is available at each location
Assist in the creation of openers/bumpers, motion graphics and other visual elements
Ability to plan content calendars and adequately project timelines/ budget
Assist with other creative needs

Background Profile:

Proficiency in videography and handling video equipment for audio and lighting
Robust skills in Adobe Premiere and After Effect, other design software is a plus
Ability to travel locally to film on location, weekdays can be flexible working remotely but will need to be on site for filming primarily on Sundays
Experience working with live sound reinforcement mixing for music and speech, broadcast systems, lighting design, and more
Experience managing teams and conducting project management
Excellent communication and organizational skills, ability to work on multiple projects at once
Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Ability to provide direction clearly to other creative staff
Self- motivated and ability to work independently with little to no supervision

This is a Full Time on site opportunity for an institution based in Birmingham, AL.
