Exciting and highly collaborative advertising agency is looking for an excellent Retail Account Director to join their team full time!

The Retail Account Director will act as a lead on daily client business, manage strategic discussions about the account, create presentations, briefs, analytic research/reports and more. Youd report and work collaboratively with the Managing Director to ensure all communication between the client and agency are accurate and up to date.

As Retail Account Director, you will:

– Be an expert voice in all advertising aspects including positioning, planning, strategy, branding and more
– Execute and implement intrusive and integrated media as well as other creative concepts
– Oversee production management for all channels including traditional and digital
– Manage multi-million dollar accounts, and provide strategy initiatives
– Maintain and develop strong client relationships by avidly communicating with clients, providing presentations of new initiatives, developing long and short term goals, budget strategies and project timelines
– Research clients industry to provide sound understanding of branding and market knowledge
– Conduct resource management as needed to ensure client success and agency profitability
– Work independently when creating client plans, tracking timelines/deliverables and managing staff as well as resources
– Measure new avenues for growth and business opportunities
– Ensure account growth as well as client retention
– Oversee retail account management team and provide performance reviews, training and assist in resolving team functionality issues
– Assist with other duties as needed

Background Profile:

– Exceptional grasp of media fundamentals like deliverable requirements, media plans and buys, project timelines, budgeting, and more
– Large quantitative skills and ability to conduct market research
– Experience managing teams and collaborating with creative staff and external vendors
– Exceptional project management skills, ability to communicate needs eloquently to team members and assign tasks efficiently
– Experience managing multiple projects and accounts simultaneously ability to create reports for multiple clients
– Ability to provide and defend agency direction and recommendations ability identify solutions to project roadblocks
– BS/BA Degree and 10+ years working in an agency environment particularly working with retail store brands
