Huge TV streaming service is looking for a talented contract UX Researcher to join their extensively experienced team for 8 months. This Fortune 200 Company and leader in multi-screen TV products, is in need of someone who can step in at all phases of UX research.

As the UX Researcher, you will report to the Research lead and collaborate with other team members like Product Designers, Product Managers and Developers in in an agile environment to find creative ways to solve customer problems. You will research through various methods including user interviews, usability testing, competitive analysis and more to uncover ways to edit/enhance the design through better understanding of users.

This role would allow you to have some communication with key stakeholders, you will provide them with updates on information and recommendations. This project would be mostly focused on the companys new mobile product.

The UX Researcher will:
– Create research plans to conceptualize product strategy and enhance product design
– Partake in analyzing research and communicate in a clear manner to other team members, measuring user pain points
– Develop user personas, create data visualization for team members, user experience maps and more
– Conduct user testing, user surveys and report of data, and more
– Collaborate with Marketing, Product Management, Designers and Developers to conceptualize solutions for product pain points
– Conceptualize research methods to unlock user motivations, goals, and pain points to facilitate product design and discovery sessions
– Stay abreast of UX Research tools and methods, recommend new methods and programs as needed
– Identify product usage patterns, review product analytics as well as social media and customer service feedback/interaction
– Review and research all user touchpoints including platforms such as TV, Web , Tablet, Mobile and more
– Conduct QA and provide recommendations on improvements
– Manage and coordinate user testing panels
– Support both alpha and beta programs and assist with other duties as needed

Background Profile:

– Robust understanding of UX principles, best practices and design
– Exceptional user-centric mentality, and experience with D2C product companies , record shipping features/products
– Experience developing user testing and research plans including interviews, usability testing, survey creations and more
– Working proficiency with testing platforms (i.e. Usability Hub, Optimal Workshop, UserZoom, User Interviews, Lookback and more)
– Experience conducting both moderated and unmoderated studies
– Ability to work effectively with a cross-functional team to find collectively solutions to design and product issues
– Robust understanding on Visual Design, Information Architecture, and Interactive Design
– Some understanding and or experience with wireframing and prototyping
– BS/BA Degree and 3-5 years of experience in User Research

This is a contract role for 8 months in Denver, CO, client is offering $40-$50/hr depending on experience.
