Faith-based institution is looking for a talented Digital Content Creator to join their team of creatives.

This is highly versatile role that will provide you with ample opportunity to get creative! This institution is incredibly future thinking, has a balance in reaching their multicultural audience of all ages. They primarily create video content for several digital platforms as well as other digital efforts like visual for events/causes, email, social media and more. This is an institution that tries to keep up with the trends and modern platforms, theyve even been working on a TV series with a major streaming network!

In this role you will work closely with the Brand Manager and Communications team ideating new digital efforts, assisting in the enhancement of the brand, and executing ongoing design projects throughout the year.

In this role you can expect to:

– Edit original and stock video to convey a message through multiple digital platforms (web, social)
– Create original graphics for online advertisement
– Creating stop motion graphics, gifs and other animated elements
– Assist in ideation stages of institution marketing and creative efforts
– Pitch ideas to the team, or help refine ideas and provide a linear creative path to achieve them
– Act as expert all of things creative, and be a resource to other junior staff
– Create some print materials like brochures, flyers, banners and more
– Collaborate with other creative team members (Graphic Designers, Video Editors, Content Creators, Social media Specialists, Project Managers, etc.)
– Assist with other duties as needed.

Background Profile:

– Robust Adobe CC skills primarily in Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign, After Effects would be a bonus
– Prior experience or knowledge on influencer marketing trends and ways to engage target audiences digitally
– Deep understanding of all digital media platforms including web, email, social media, advertisement and more
– Experience working with and creating visuals for paid social media campaigns
– Great ability to work effectively in a collaborative and cross-functional team
– Ability to multitask and work on multiple projects at once
– Exceptional organizational and communication skills both verbal and written
– 3-5 years of design experience including video production and photography.

This is a Contract to Hire remote opportunity for an institution based in LA.
