We are calling this position Manager of Creative Solutions, as the person in this role will be the outmost expert voice on all things creative. This role will be similar to that of a Creative Director.

The Creative expert will manage a team of four, and ensure quality, branding and company objectives are met for both digital and print platforms. You will get the chance to promote a productive and collaborative team environment, as well as push for new creative strategies and ideas.

This is a highly hands on opportunity, so you will get to go beyond management and put your design expertise into practice.

Job Responsibilities:
– Work within the Digital Strategy Department conceptualizing, designing and executing cross-platform digital projects
– Ensure all visual projects are use-centric, follow all brand guidelines and objectives
– Communicate directly with the VP of Digital Strategy and assist in pitching strategies to enhance company efforts
– Be the expert voice on all UX/UI Design efforts, stay abreast of new trends, best practices and related technology
– Work/ Communicate with copywriters, editors, PMs, Designer, Developers and other staff to ensure projects are on target and within deadline
– Lead brain storming sessions/ ideation and partake in executive and stakeholder meetings
– Conduct usability testing and user research to ensure user-centric designs
– Review wireframes and prototypes, provide feedback and solutions to increase engagement
– Mentor junior staff by providing feedback, guidance and increase overall skill sets to build a strong creative team
– Occasionally communicate with external vendors and agencies, ensure all external projects meet the companys expected quality and guidelines
– Provide recommendations on how to facilitate and improve processes/quality of work
– Assist in facilitating the transition from print design to digital-first approach
– Manage creative schedules and objectives
– Assist with other duties as needed

Background Profile:
– Exceptional command of Design/ Creative software like Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere, Sketch, InVision, Figma and more
– Prior management experience, at least 2 years within a creative team
– Robust experience creating designs for digital platforms (web, mobile, email, social media, video, etc.)
– Excellent understanding of UX/UI Design principles and best practices, so experience with HTML, CSS and JavaScript
– Ability to create wireframes, interactive prototypes/mockups, conduct user research, create user personas, user journey flows, etc.
– Excellent ability to visually represent complex data
– Prior experience create brand strategies, project managing, overseeing budgets, timelines and staff duties
– Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written, great attention to detail
– BS/BA Degree in Design and 7+ years of related creative experience
– Preferred: Prior experience working in finance industry

This is an onsite Full Time opportunity for a company in Philadelphia, PA. Salary offered is $115K-$125K depending on experience.
