A top-rank digital company in northern Kentucky seeks an exceptional and independent REMOTE TEMP UX/UI Product Designer to renew and improve their online platform. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter with a passion for creating great user-centered products and design solutions. You will help strengthen and elevate their brand as they dive deeper to take their product to the next level.

The UI/UX Product Designer will examine and review the current user experience diving deep to understand our users through user testing and research. UI/UX designer will provide recommendations, mockups and executable CSS/HTML based on standards, trends and best practices.

Starting with product vision, you will be working with executives and engineers to design for desktop and mobile focusing on user experience, interaction and user interface. Candidate will produce conceptual wireframes; create high-fidelity mockups, information architecture diagrams, interaction specifications, prototypes, and visual design.

As a UI/UX Product Designer you will have:
Excellent skills in UI development
Strong understanding of UX
Experience in customer research
Design full mockups/demos of approved wireframes
Experience working remotely and collaborating with teams
Communicate; present complex concepts, interactive design clearly and persuasively across different audiences
Prepare and execute UI kits, UX flows, site maps and more

Profile Background/Requirements
– BS/BA Degree and 2- 4+ years of related experience as a UX/UI Designer or UX/UI Product Designer
– Excellent skills set in Adobe CC, HTML/CSS along with prototyping tools (Invision, Adobe XD, Webflow, Sketch)
– Experience creating wireframes, ideally for dashboards/portals
– Background with frontend code using HTML/CSS/JS
– Experience designing for cross-platform applications including mobile, desktop, and tablets to deliver a consistent experience across multiple touch points
– Excellent portfolio showcasing strong UX design, visual sensibilities and problem-solving skills
– A solid portfolio show casing your user-centered design solutions and design process
– Previous experience collaborating with a creative team, engineers, developers to implement designs
– Excellent skills in communicating, presenting complex concepts, interactive design clearly and persuasively across different audiences a good storyteller
– WordPress or Buddypress experience a plus
