A university in Miami FL is looking for a remote, part-time, bilingual (English/Spanish), experienced Project Manager, PR/Social Media to join their team!

Work from the comfort of your own home as this role will be almost exclusively remote with only a few onsite meetings as needed.

As a Project Manager, PR/Social Media youll be working approximately 20-25/hrs a week, with the Marketing Director. You will help to coordinate, manage quality control with various communication and marketing efforts including public relations and social media to maintain on-brand strategic partnerships.

The Project Manager works closely with the marketing teams, agencies and will be responsible for the inhouse and workflow of all PR, social media and digital projects from project start to completion. The project manager is responsible for quality control and delivery of creative assets – created, approved, proofed and delivered to the appropriate agencies and vendors.

Background Profile:
BS/BA in Marketing, PR, Advertising, or related field
5+ years prior experience in a PR or advertising agency or similar environment
Robust understanding of PR media/practices and community relations
Exceptionally strong Bilingual (English/Spanish) written and oral communication and proof-reading skills
Excellent understanding of public relations and social media marketing and management
Exceptional organizational and self-management skills
Experienced managing workflow of integrated PR and social media marketing projects working with agencies – delivered within scope, timeframe and budget
Detail-oriented, highly motivated individual with a positive and proactive attitude, a creative problem solver
Experience working with deliverables for with public relations, social media, and print/media/digital assets
Experience working CRM or in-house or web-based job tracking/reporting system
Solid understanding of PR, social medial, digital studio/graphic and agency processes
Strong skills in Microsoft Word, Excel. Experience with Adobe CS Acrobat Pro is ideal
Responsible for scheduling, tracking, reporting, variances, change management, evaluating and delivery of projects
Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills
Team player attitude and able to work in an organized and efficient manner; detail-oriented

Preferred: Experience working in the education industry but not a requirement.

This is a remote ongoing contract opportunity, 20 – 25hrs/ week in Miami, FL.
