Giant food retailer is looking for a multi-disciplinary Creative Director to join their experienced team.

The Creative Director will join the companys digital advertising team and lead a group of graphic designers. The person in this role must be incredibly meticulous, hands-on and able to execute multiple projects for multi-channel campaigns.

In addition to leading a group of creatives you will be spearheading concepts, design strategy, pitches, budgets, and scheduling.

As Creative Director, you can expect to:

– Conceptualize and design several digital campaigns for social, email, web and video
– Stay abreast of all social platforms like Snapchat, Instagram, Facebook and Twitter
– Mentor and lead a team of digital graphic designers
– Stay abreast of new design and industry trends/technology
– Lead/ own ideation and execution of projects
– Effectively communicate with and lead any 3rd party vendors used
– Oversee quality control, ensure that all projects meets optimum quality and is up to the expectation of the brand
– Ensure consistency in web content, branding and other digital platforms
– Communicate with stakeholders, evaluate and share current creative efforts
– Analyze market and potential opportunities, share ideas to maximize quality and improve web traffic
– Lead brainstorming sessions and creative briefings
– Manage all digital marketing components including timelines, presentations, analysis, project launch, etc.
– Be a part of the growth and improvement of the creative team

Background profile:

– Proficiency in Adobe CC (Illustrator, After Effects and Photoshop)
– Proficiency in Cinema 4D and experience creating motion graphics for animated gifs, social platforms, and video
– Prior experience managing a creative design team and working effectively in a cross-functional team
– Proficient understanding of digital platforms (web, mobile, social, email, video, etc.)
– Experience creating cross-platform deliverables
– Keen design eye and ability to recognize highly creative design opportunities
– Ability to eloquently provide feedback and improvements to design staff
– Ability to project budgets and ensure projects stay within their means
– Vast experience with integrated digital marketing campaigns
– Exceptional command of web production and familiarity with the capabilities and limitations of digital channels (i.e. social media, email)
– Experience working with off-site creative agencies
– Client facing experience, ability to effectively present ideas, project progress and analytics to key stakeholders
– Exceptional communication skill both verbal and written
– Ability to simplify and find solutions for complex ideas/issues
– Exceptional planning and organizational skills
– Ability to travel if needed, with some overnight stays
– BS/BA Degree and 7+ years in a digital creative field with management experience
– Preferred: Skills in Sketch, InVision

This is an on-site, Full Time opportunity near San Antonio, TX and client is offering $85K-$120K depending on experience, plus benefits.
