We are looking for talented designers with original ideas that break the creative mold!

Join one of the largest entertainment publishing companies as our UX/UI expert. In this role, you will be part of a highly collaborative and idea-driven marketing team.

The position will entail you to take ownership of our overall UX/UI, and educate our creative team as well as stakeholders in the psychology and principles of user-centric designs. The talent is this role should a multi-disciplinary designer with a strong understanding of digital media and its limitation.

You can expect to:

– Conceptualize and create designs for web, mobile apps and interactive media
– Conceptualize and design wireframes, quick prototypes, and other visual assets
– Conduct research to find and anticipate new effective design strategies
– Oversee analytics and report performance to creative team and stakeholders, provide solutions/improvements based on data
– Generate user interaction flows, user journeys, and personas
– Lead and educate team in all aspects of UX/UI
– Work on several projects simultaneously
– Communicate with Communications, Marketing, Creative and Studio teams to discuss design strategy
– Act as mentor to junior and other design staff

Background Profile:

– Robust Adobe CS skills (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
– Excellent command of design and prototyping tools like Sketch, InVision, Adobe XD, etc.
– Vast experience creating wireframes, UI layouts, mockups and prototypes
– Excellent understanding of UX/UI best practices and core principles
– Ability to design for multiple platforms
– Experience leading brainstorming meetings, white boarding sessions, creating user and process flows
– Ability to conduct industry research and anticipate design strategies/ patterns
– Experience working with developers, marketing, as well as in-house and off-site creative teams
– Some familiarity with HTML/ CSS
– Exceptional communication, organization, and presentation skills
– Ability to work within a highly collaborative cross-functional team
– Ability to tackle several projects at once and act as team lead in all UX/UI conversations
– Client-facing experience, and ability to eloquently present reasoning for design decisions
– Team player, ability to self-manage and take ownership of projects from concept to completion
– Preferred: 5+ years of experience in a creative team, interest in video games, Television, film and other forms of entertainment

This is an on-site, full time opportunity in New York City, NY and salary is $100K+ depending on experience.
