Award-winning digital advertising agency is looking for an experienced Assistant Media Director to work cross-platform on projects for several clients.

As Assistant Media Director you will be managing the media team as well as their assignments. You can expect to tackle both media planning and buying, as well as ad placements and budget management.

The Assistant Media Director will:

– Assist Media Director with all project efforts
– Manage the medias team day-to-day
– Manage budgets of $10M+ and ensure ad buying stays within budgets
– Plan/Strategize traditional media (TV, radio, print) efforts and some digital
– Work on a national, regional and local level
– Partake in brainstorming sessions, providing insight / suggestions on media buying
– Serve as a senior resource to media team and train media staff as needed
– Research new technologies/techniques to meet the clients strategy
– Manage client approvals for campaigns
– Ability to retrieve data and insight from campaign results
– Assist with other duties as needed.

Background profile:

– Experience managing/ supervising a team
– Familiarity with media software and research tools (i.e. Nielsen, Freewheel, SMBS, eMarketer, Simmons, etc. )
– Experience managing general market as well as Hispanic Market
– Experience managing large budgets of $10M+
– Ability to take full ownership of all media planning, particularly traditional broadcast
– Exceptional communication skills and ability to work client-facing
– Exceptional command of Microsoft Office Suite
– Experience working in Florida market
– BS/BA degree and 3-5 years of agency experience
